    The Senior Human Resources Manager is a critical role responsible for delivering human resources services to assigned to Corrpro Canada, Inc, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation. This role reports directly to the VP of Human Resources for the Corrosion Protection Platform (CPP). CPP offers a broad portfolio of leading technologies and services in North America and other parts of the world to protect and monitor oil and gas pipelines from the effects of corrosion. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leadership to leverage his/her expertise as a partner and driver for change in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, policy and process development, and change management.


    • Leads a team of HR professionals, and contributes individually, to develop and align the HR agenda with assigned clients’ long range strategic plans and defined short term imperatives to support the business results.
    • Actively engage with client group leadership to implement strategies for acquiring, developing and retaining the right talent for organizational success.
    • Deliver Human Resources services including, but not limited to: workforce planning, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, onboarding, employee relations, employee development, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, coaching, progressive discipline, workplace investigations, leave management, off-boarding and change management.
    • Maintain an informed and proactive posture in all matters pertaining to trends in HR policy and practice including ongoing monitoring of industry, legislative and regulatory environment and the potential impact;
    • As a member of the Human Resources team, lead and support the development, compliance, implementation and maintenance of company policies and programs;
    • Compile, analyze, interpret and present on data to support decision making, to reveal people related metrics and trends and to drive future based action plans.
    • Establish and maintain collaborative and positive working relationships with leaders, management and employees by being accessible for consultation, coaching regarding interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, policy and practice interpretation;
    • Work together with Human Resources Shared Service teams to implement company practices as it relates to compensation and benefits, talent management, HRIS and payroll.
    • This role will some require travel to regional locations across the United States.
    • Additional duties as assigned.



    • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience with 3+ years of HR leadership experience; CHRP designation preferred.
    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field required
    • Familiarity and proficiency with Canadian labor laws required
    • Prior HR experience in the energy, construction or manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
    • Extensive experience working with all functional areas of Human Resources.
    • Solid understanding of employment standards and human rights legislation.
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
    • Prior experience supporting employees across several geographies in the United States or International locations would be an asset.

    • Strong attention to detail; ability to research and analyze detailed information as well as summarize key message points for executive-level management.
