    Corrpro Canada, Inc. is looking for a temporary Junior Accountant to join our team in Edmonton, AB for a one year contract starting January 2018.


    The Junior Accountant is directly responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining and reconciling balance sheet ledger accounts including bank reconciliation. Assisting in the month end closing and account analysis process is also a function of the role.


    Corrpro Canada, an Aegion Corporation company, is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.




    • Prepare monthly journal entries including monthly accruals.
    • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
    • Prepare weekly management reports
    • Company credit card reconciliations and sending un-reconciled accounts to employees.
    • Prepare job costing reports for Managers.
    • Post the job cost adjustments in JDE accounting software provided back from management.
    • Post the manufacturing accounting WIP and manufacturing variance in JDE.
    • Assist with year-end tasks, such as gathering data for external and internal audit.
    • Assist with special projects as required
    • Additional tasks as assigned


    • 2 years of experience in accounting

    • Familiarity with spreadsheet programs and applications; JDE accounting software an asset

    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

    • Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations
