    Corrpro Canada, an Aegion company, is looking for three(3) Technical Sales Representatives to join our teams in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta as well as Saskatchewan.

    Corrpro Canada Inc. is Canada’s largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection and corrosion mitigation business. Corrpro Canada is also part of Corrpro Companies Inc., the world leader in cathodic protection services. For more than 40 years, Corrpro and its subsidiaries have been providing professional corrosion engineering consulting and cathodic protection services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, private industry, universities and public transportation agencies. Corrpro supports clients through our eight, full-service offices distributed across Canada.

    Responsibilities

    The position is responsible for generating new orders by selling corporate products and services. This position maintains a high level of customer service and support, promoting all required products and services.  

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Focus on improving and developing sales revenue and margin with existing and new customers
    • Reach or exceed their established sales quotas through effective management of defined territories, assigned customers, and assigned projects
    • Work closely with operations to develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of Corrpro Canada and Aegion
    • Build market recognition and customer base within the assigned territory
    • Ensure all sales activity and opportunities are up to date in ACES, Aegion’s in house Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
    • Provide feedback to the region on the market situation and work with other sales/regional managers to develop national accounts
    • Establish and direct team to achieve or exceed sales and margin targets for the region
    • Offer, follow up, negotiate and close business within the assigned territory
    • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
    • Responsible for the timely preparation of quotations and proposals
    • Provide weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree or relevant industry experience required
    • 5+ years related technical sales experience in the energy, pipeline, and/or municipal markets
    • Corrosion control/cathodic experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of the corrosion industry and related procedures, as well as education on industry regulations and policies preferred
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to deal with individuals at all levels of an organization
    • Correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with customers
    • Represent Corrpro in a professional manner, with a high degree of respect for all customers
    • Some travel will be required
