    Responsibilities

    This role is responsible for selling UPS Limited's products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. This role will reach their business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer locations. This role will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of UPS Limited.

     

    • Execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed annual sales plans and quotas.
    • Generate and qualify leads for subsequent development.
    • Meet Engineering, Oil, and contracting companies to specify our products for use on their projects & to secure orders for our products.
    • Develops professional relationships with customers to foster customer loyalty and grow assigned account sales.
    • Perform key account planning to identify, develop, and close business opportunities in support of business plan and strategic objectives. Maintain favorable business relationships with key accounts.
    • Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered by United Pipeline Systems.
    • Conduct sales calls and make product / service presentations to meet customer needs.
    • Provide input into the estimating process and pricing optimization.
    • Generate market intelligence for capture and subsequent analysis. Respond to competitive analyses.
    • Assist in the achievement of orders, revenue, and profit objectives for Canada.
    • Remain current on operational capabilities, backlog, and cost structure.
    • Represent organization within appropriate industry and professional organizations.
    • Provide input into development of marketing communications and product portfolio decisions.
    • Spearhead management of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction. Ensure prompt investigation of client concerns and provide problem resolutions or referral to appropriate personnel.
    • Remain current on sales performance and provide sales reports as required. Provide ongoing status reports to detail activity to include factored sales forecast and acquisitions report.
    • Remain current on market trends, competitor activities and new product developments.
    • Attends and helps co-ordinate trade shows, related conventions and customer events, to promote our products and services.
    • Maintain, utilize, and take ownership of the organizations Salesforce.com CRM system.
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • College diploma or University degree with a concentration in Engineering or Construction Management.
    • 5+ years related experience with demonstrated success.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and communicate.
    • Strong people management and decision-making skills.
    • Entrepreneurial energy with a flair for start-up business operations.
    • Oil & Gas knowledge an asset.
